Hall of Fame

The Rugby League Hall of Fame was inaugurated in 1988 - the first national sporting Hall of Fame to be established in the UK. Originally with twelve incumbents, more have been irregularly added since.

This unofficial site is dedicated to the seventeen sporting heroes in the Hall of Fame, and the thousands of heroes who have graced The Greatest Game since 1895.

England or Great Britain?

A new era in Test football began this week with England rather than Great Britain taking the mantle of the lead test nation in Britain.

It was a successful start with a 56-8 point victory over France in Toulouse, in preparation for the World Cup in Australia later this year.

Ireland and Scotland will also be competing in the World Cup, and England will play a warm up game against Wales before leaving for Australia. Great Britain will now be just a touring entity to Australia and New Zealand, probably next in 2012.

History

The History section features some of Rugby League's defining events - from the First Season to the war heroism of Jack Harrison and the on-field heroism of Alan Prescott.

Test Football

The site has sections for Test Football, the World Cup including the Golden Lions all time selection, Tri-Nations and European Championship.

At Home

Domestically there is a summary of all League Championships and the Challenge Cup.
