FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Overwhelming Response to Trevor Foster Book of CondolenceOn-line tribute to remain open until May 27th.22 April 2005 -- There has been an overwhelming response from the people of Bradford and the Rugby League community to the online Book of Condolence for the late Trevor Foster MBE. The Virtual Rugby League Hall of Fame website at www.rlhalloffame.org.uk has so far received over five hundred messages to the online Book. Steve Newcombe, who runs the Virtual Hall of Fame site, is touched but not surprised by the response. “The variety of people who have taken the time to post messages about Trevor is truly moving.” said Newcombe. “There are messages from people who knew him well, people who watched him from the Odsal terraces, and children who knew of him and the great contribution he made to Rugby League and the city of Bradford. The messages come from around the world and across generations of the Bradford community.” “The Book will remain open for messages to be posted until May 27th. At that time I hope to produce a hard copy of the messages for posterity. The online tributes to Trevor will remain on the website for as long as the website exists” Leaving a message is a simple process.
