World Cup -
2000 - Emerging Nations
The 2000 Rugby League Emerging Nations Tournament was held alongside the
Millennium World Cup. As with the World Cup, the
competition suffered from poor attendances in comparison to the previous event.
Somewhat bizarrely, the tournament was won by the British Amateur Rugby League
Association (BARLA), who it can be claimed are neither "emerging" nor a
"nation".
